Grow… My Lord wants me to become like Him

It is our mission to minister to our members by:

v  Providing educational opportunities for our members to grow spiritually through the power of God’s word enabling them to then teach others

v  Encouraging our members to become spiritually mature and live their life of faith

Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.  (1 Peter 2:2,3)

THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH;

BUT THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD.

ROMANS 6:23

INTRODUCTION TO THE BIBLE

2 Peter 1: 19-21 19And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. 20Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation. 21For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

John 20: 30-31 30Jesus did many other miraculous signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. 31But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

Proverbs 30: 5 - 6 "Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.6 Do not add to his words, or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar.

THE BIBLE:

VERBAL INSPIRATION:

John 1: 17 17For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Romans 3: 19 - 24 19Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God. 20Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin. 21But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. 22This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, 23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
