Crown of Life Lutheran Church

Image

Crown of Life Lutheran Church was founded in 1970 to serve Richfield and the surrounding communities with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and are committed to teaching it accurately and faithfully. We believe that the primary teachings of the Bible are law and gospel. The law shows our spiritually lost condition because of our sins against God’s perfect standards, and the gospel shows us how God has fully and freely forgiven our sins through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ for us. We share the gospel so that everyone we encounter may believe in Jesus Christ and receive his gifts of forgiveness and eternal life.

Crown of Life is a confessional Lutheran congregation located in Hubertus (Richfield), Wisconsin, and is affiliated with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS).

Crown of Life Lutheran Church also operates and supports Crown of Life Lutheran School (pre-K to grade 8), and is part of the federation that supports Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School in Jackson, Wisconsin. We also welcome students from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon who receive practical ministry experience preaching, leading worship, and teaching in our congregation as a part of their seminary education.

About Our Worship

Our Worship Team takes seriously the weekly task of providing worship that sets Christ Jesus as Savior at center stage. We place a high value on the way Christians have worshipped for centuries and model their patterns. At the same time we look to embrace new styles and settings that our Heavenly Father is presently giving to his Church in the interest of telling the news of his Son to every soul.

Our Membership

Church membership is more than having your name on a church roster. Membership is about relationships. We commit to gather regularly to hear God’s Word and receive his grace together, to grow together as lifelong learners of Jesus, to spend time together with one another in Christian friendship and support, and to go out together into our communities and circles of friends to make a meaningful difference.

He also said, “This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. All by itself the soil produces grain—first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. ...Mark 4:26-29
